The smallest Terraform Deck. A landing at the back door, a platform under a spa, a level pad for a barbecue and two chairs. It arrives flat-packed on a pallet and goes down in an afternoon.

What you bring

An 18 V drill, a hammer, a tape measure, gloves, and eye and ear protection. Nothing gets cut, so there is no saw on the list. One person can build it; two is faster.

Why aluminium

The frame is the part of a deck that rots, sags, burns and gets eaten. Ours is extruded aluminium 6005-T6, so none of that happens. Under 3 kg per metre, so a full bearer goes over one shoulder. Termite proof, rot proof, non-combustible, and it never needs a coat of anything.

Kits bolt to kits, so two Smalls make a 4.8 × 1.2 m deck. Foundations must be prepared to local requirements; permits and footing certification are the installer's responsibility.
